Kangana Ranaut calls actress ‘gutterchap, pocket maar’; netizens think its Sonakshi Sinha

New Delhi: Actress Kangana Ranaut has shared another controversial remark on her Instagram, targeting an unnamed actress, and internet thinks it’s Sonakshi Sinha. The cryptic post went viral on social media in no time.

The post came shortly after the Gangster actress attempted to clarify an alleged “like” on a social media post, that used derogatory language for an actress’s weight.

What did Kangana Ranaut say?

Kangana shared a video on Monday (August 3) where she took potshots at a female actor, “a Hindu beti”, who allegedly changed her beliefs following her marriage with a Muslim man.

“I’ve seen and known a lot of Hindu daughters in the film industry closely. They’re Hindu, but they don’t have any thought process about politics. They’re usually very neutral,” said Kangana. “But as soon as they come in contact with Islamic people, whether it’s through marriage or friendship, their thinking instantly becomes so defined. They become Leftist extremists,” she said.

“Yes, I was a moderate Hindu. But then I’m asked, ‘Since when did you become a Sanghi?’ I want to become a Sanghi! I want to convert to the ‘awakened Hindu’ ideology of BJP and RSS. Why can’t I convert? These are double standards of our society. The so-called stakeholders of society unearth videos from 10 years ago and say, ‘But you used to party so much!’ Yes, I used to party, but today, I want to become a defined and awakened Hindu. Why is that path closed for you? So, these double standards won’t work. If our Hindu daughters want to convert into defined and awakened Hindus, then why not?.” she added.

Taking to her Instagram Story, Kangana Ranaut claimed that the viral screenshot showing her having liked the body-shaming post is “fabricated”. She then went on to make some crass remarks about an unnamed actress.

She wrote, “There are many fake news that are doing rounds, this like of mine is also fake I never body shame anyone but I have noticed an actress who dresses and speaks like a pocket maar these days she wears half pants and ulta cap and talks like a jebkatra while passionately promoting gutterchap behaviour of protestors.”

“I always feel how you dress in a relationship is a direct reflection of how you feel, dear fellow actress if your man is making you feel like a jebkatra I am sorry, you used to dress and speak so elegantly what happened to you? Opinions are yours but you can do better with that styling of yours if you need some help I am always there for you,” she added.

Netizens think it’s Sonakshi Sinha

Several netizens quickly guessed that Kangana is targeting Sonakshi Sinha. Earlier, Sonakshi was one of the celebrities who spoke publicly in support of the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) protest.

She also shared a video, dressed in a T-shirt, shorts and a cap, celebrating students’ win after Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan resigned.

One user wrote on X (formerly Twitter), “Nahh, Kangana Ranaut took a dig at Sonakshi Sinha. This is Brutal.”

Another wrote, “Hope after watching this Sonakshi Sinha didn’t get offended. Queen Kangana Ranaut is taking Sonakshi left, right, and centre.”

“Kangana Ranaut cooking Sonakshi Sinha: We have one actress in Bollywood who was Hindu and neutral, but after coming into contact with Islamists, she became a hardcore leftist. That’s her choice, and I have no problem with it. But now they have a problem with me because I want to be a Sanghi. Yes, I want to be a Sanghi. I want to be an Awakened Hindu, and I want to follow the BJP-RSS ideology. Why can’t I choose that path? Yes, I used to party 10 years ago, but people can change. I also have the right to change my beliefs and become an Awakened Hindu.”

“After calling Hindu girls as ugly, Generation Gutter, Kangana Ranaut calls Sonakshi Sinha a ‘pocket maar’ who wears shorts and promotes gutterchap Students protesters. Says “I want to convert into a Sanghi to protect Hinduism. Rakhi Sawant, Kulwinder Kaur were so right,” wrote another.

One user wrote, “BTW she is talking about Sonakshi Sinha.”

Kangana Ranaut and Hrithik Roshan reignite feud

Kangana Ranaut’s remark comes after the viral episode between Kangana and Hrithik Roshan, who reignited their old feud.

After “We need to apologise to Hrithik Roshan” trended big on social media, following Kangana’s “Generational Gutter” remark on the Gen Z protesters, Hrithik reacted and wrote, “My friend, siding with ‘A’ just cause you don’t like ‘B’ anymore is a small part of the larger systemic issue plaguing our society. I’ll wait, for when the context to it is the right one, and motivated by facts. That would be fair. But then again, who cares anymore right.”

Kangana then responded with a post on Instagram, which read, “Dear Hrithik I am happy that you have found your perfect match, Saba Azad, and you both look great together, you are in a committed relationship and it doesn’t suit you to tease a woman like this,” she wrote, adding, “Instead, you should condemn all those who are harassing and bullying me using your name, stop adding fuel to fire and embarrassing your partner, hope better sense prevails and you stop making unreasonable comments.”
