About Rajinikanth’s Jailer 2

Directed by Nelson Dilipkumar and produced by Sun Pictures, Jailer 2 brings Rajinikanth back as Tiger Muthuvel Pandian. The sequel follows the success of the 2023 film Jailer and has attracted audiences across several language markets.

The film features an ensemble cast that includes Ramya Krishnan, Mohanlal, Yogi Babu, Vidya Balan, Jackie Shroff and Shivarajkumar, among others. Anirudh Ravichander has composed the music for the film.

Meanwhile, the film faced a hurdle in Canada after the screening of the film was halted over an issue involving the film’s digital exhibition authorisation. The film has attributed the disruption to the non-receipt of valid Key Delivery Messages (KDMs), which are required to unlock and play a digitally distributed film.
