Isolated Stone-Pelting Incident Near Akashvani Bhavan in Delhi Two Injured

Though the situation in Delhi so far is peaceful, there has been a stray incident of stone pelting near Akashvani Bhavan when some protestors who had gone into the Gurudwara Bangla Sahib were detained. Some of them, mostly representing SFI, managed to reach Akashvani Bhavan, from where they wanted to proceed towards Jantar Mantar.

With the CJP activists being detained across Delhi, the SFI and left parties have extended support to the CJP protest, and it was they who reportedly sat on dharna on the road. As the police were removing them from there, some protestors pelted stones at the police, and two police officers were injured.

The SFI activists were seen holding placards and posters demanding the resignation of CEC Gyanesh Kumar. They were however removed by the police and taken to detention camps.
