Indian 3: Shankar Confirms Kamal Haasan’s Return As Senapathy

It is well known that Kollywood’s iconic filmmaker Shankar faced two biggest setbacks of his career with ’s Indian 2 and Ram Charan’s Game Changer. These two movies completely disappointed the audience and made Shankar take a long break. But now, he is back with a bang. Most of them assumed that Indian 3 which was announced alongside Indian 2 has been shelved. But Shankar is all set to make a strong comeback with the franchise that he had already begun.

Of late, he announced the third instalment of Indian series featuring Kamal Haasan as Senapathy. The makers too shared this big news on social media and treated the netizens.

This post reads, “Senapathy is back with zero tolerance. 🔥 The resurgence begins in #Indian3 🇮🇳 War Mode.”

Unlike the Indian 2, this movie won’t concentrate on Kamal Haasan’s Senapathy character, instead it will showcase the story of Senapathy’s father Veerasekaran Balram (Kamal Haasan), a freedom fighter himself. With this post, the makers have confirmed that the post-production of Indian 3 has begun.

As the major part of Indian 3 has been completed during Indian 2 shooting, only the patchwork and a part of graphics work is pending. This doesn’t require much budget too. So, now the makers have begun their post-production too.

Well, this Shankar’s directorial is being produced under the Lyca Productions banner and has an ensemble cast of Siddharth, Kajal Aggarwal, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Bobby Simha and SJ Suryah. On the other hand, Anirudh will compose the music and Muthuraj Thangavel will be the production designer.
