New Delhi: The series-deciding fifth T20I between India and West Indies has been called off due to rain at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on Saturday, October 17. The five-match series has ended in a 2-2 draw. The Men in Blue won the series opener in Lucknow by 8 wickets, while West Indies won the second match by 6 wickets in Ranchi.

The hosts took a 2-1 lead after securing a 14-run victory in Indore, and the visitors levelled the series after defeating India by 24 runs in Hyderabad. With this, the visitors’ wait for a bilateral series victory against India at home continues. The last time West Indies defeated India in a bilateral series in India (any format) was back in 2002, when they won a seven-match ODI series 4-3, with the contest going down to the decider.
