Godrej Capital acquires Kanakadurga Finance’s gold portfolio

Mumbai: GodrejCapital on Wednesday announced its entry into the gold loan segment with the acquisition of Andhra Pradesh-based Kanakadurga Finance’s gold loan business for Rs 117 crore.

The maiden acquisition by the non-bank lending arm of the Godrej Group is aimed at strengthening its presence in the consumer finance segment, according to an official statement.
