CJP Leaders Get Bail with One-Year Peace Bond
The release of CJP leaders Abhijeet Dipke, Saurav Das and Ashutosh Ranka following the order of the executive magistrate this morning has now created a new situation. The magistrate, according to the lawyer of the CJP leaders, had imposed a condition that they would not do anything to breach the peace for one year. The three have been under preventive arrest by since yesterday.

What exactly this means is something one will have to wait till the detailed order is released. Does it mean that they cannot participate in any protests for the next year or not? One will have to wait to know.
Soon after coming out of the court, the three left in a car waving a victory symbol but did not speak to the media.
“Abhijeet, Ashutosh and Saurav were produced before the Executive Magistrate at Delhi Cantt Police Station at 9 AM today.
The Delhi police, which had relaxed the security cover at the border areas, has once again gone on high alert as it is felt that the CJP leaders may ask the volunteers to gather at Jantar Mantar though there is no permission for any protest in the capital city.
Barricades continue to be kept in place, and they are nailed to the ground so that the protestors cannot move them.
Stringent traffic restrictions remained in force across several parts of Delhi on Sunday for a second consecutive day as the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) renewed its call for protests demanding the removal of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar.
According to a Delhi Traffic Police advisory, diversions were enforced from 6 am, with traffic movement to be affected around Jantar Mantar, Connaught Place, Mandi House, Patel Chowk and several other key intersections in Lutyens’ Delhi.
The restrictions come amid a security clampdown following an announcement by CJP and prominent student organisations, including the Students’ Federation of India (SFI) that protests would continue until their demands were met.
The affected stretches include the Ashoka Road-Jantar Mantar Road roundabout, Tolstoy Marg-Janpath crossing, Jai Singh Road-Sansad Marg crossing, Rail Bhawan roundabout, Patel Chowk, Gol Dak Khana and several intersections around Connaught Place.
