Box Office Report [August 10]: Spider-Man Brand New Day, Thudakkam and more

New Delhi: The box office witnessed a good Monday with Tom Holland’s continuing its historic run, Thudakkam minting a strong hold, and having an impressive run at the ticket window.

Let’s explore how the currently running movies in theatres have performed at the box office on August 10 (Monday).

Box Office Report [August 10]

Spider-Man: Brand New Day Box Office collection

According to trade tracker Sacnilk, Tom Holland’s slowed down on its second Monday.

On its Day 12, the film collected Rs 7.60 crore net in India, witnessing 78.1 per cent lower than the previous day’s collections. The film’s total collection now stands at Rs 423.05 crore and India gross collection is Rs 505.93 crore.

The film collected Rs 334.75 crore net in India and second week added another Rs 88.30 crore, taking the film’s overall net total to Rs 420 crore mark.

Thudakkam Box Office collection

Vismaya Mohanlal’s Thudakkam is having a steady run at the box office. The Malayalm film collected Rs 1.60 crore India net on Day 4, according to Sacnilk. The film’s total gross collection has now reached Rs 13.92 crore, while India net collection stands at Rs 12 crore.

The film minted Rs 1.50 crore overseas on Day 4, bring the overseas total to Rs 12.90 crore. The film’s worldwide collection now stands at Rs 26.82 crore.

The film opened with Rs 2.55 crore and went on to mint Rs 3.60 crore on its Day 2. The film collected Rs 4.25 crore on its Day 3.

DC Box office collection

Lokesh Kanagaraj and Wamiqa Gabbi’s Tamil film, DC, registered 36.4 per cent rise on its Day 3. According to Sacnilk, DC earned Rs 9.55 crore net in India on its third day. The film’s India net collection now stands at Rs 20.95 crore and India gross collection is Rs 24.11 crore

The film opened with Rs 4.40 crore and went on to collect Rs 7 crore on its Day 2.

Korean Kanakaraju Box Office collection

According to Sacnilk, Korean Kanakaraju collected Rs 2.10 crore on its Day 4, bringing total India net collections to Rs 15.30 crore and Rs 17.60 crore India gross. The film collected Rs 0.40 crore overseas on its Day 4, bring the total overseas collection to Rs 4.40. The film’s worldwide collection now stands at Rs 21.99 crore.
