ASUS Pad India price announced: Premium OLED Android tablet starts at Rs 45,990
New Delhi: ASUS has unveiled the pricing of its new high-end Android tablet, the ASUS Pad, in India, and it’s equipped with MediaTek Dimensity chips and a 12.2-inch OLED display. The tablet starts at Rs 45,990 for the 8GB + 128GB variant, while the 8GB + 256GB model is priced at Rs 49,990.

The ASUS Pad will be available in India starting from August 6 through Flipkart, the ASUS eShop, ASUS and ROG stores, Reliance Digital and other retail outlets. ASUS says that its Easy Pay financing options and up to 12 months of no-cost EMI with monthly payments beginning at Rs 3,833 are also available for the buyer.
ASUS Pad features an OLED display and Dolby Atmos audio
For the display, the ASUS Pad features a 12.2-inch dual OLED 2.8K screen with a 144Hz refresh rate, a maximum 2,000 nits brightness and a 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut. The display is intended to produce “vivid imagery” for streaming, gaming and creative productivity, according to ASUS, while the quad-speaker system with Dolby Atmos is meant to offer an immersive audio experience.
The MediaTek D8300 processor takes care of powering the tablet, which comes with 8GB LPDDR5X RAM and a maximum storage of 256GB UFS 3.1. Users get the additional storage space up to 1TB microSD card. It is preloaded with Android 16.
Slim design, large battery and included protective case
The ASUS Pad is 6.5 mm thick and weighs 523 g, so it can be carried easily at work, for study, or while travelling. It has a 9,000mAh battery that supports 45W fast charging, and ASUS says that it can fill the battery from 0 to 50 per cent in about 30 minutes.
Additional features include Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, a 13MP rear camera, a 5MP front camera with face unlock support, USB Type-C with DisplayPort, and GlideX, which enables smooth transfer and sharing of files between Windows, macOS, Android and iOS devices. A protective folio case with four viewing modes is also included in the box with ASUS.
