After Kaka, Will Chiranjeevi Join Hands With Karthik Subbaraj?
Tollywood’s legendary actor Megastar Chiranjeevi is currently busy with Bobby Kolli’s Kaka movie. As the film is scheduled to hit the theatres on 13th January, 2027 during the Pongal season, the shooting is going on at a brisk pace. Well, as the film’s release date is nearing, all his fans are eagerly awaiting for his next movie announcement.
Earlier Megastar Chiranjeevi teamed up with The Paradise fame Srikanth Odela and also dropped the official announcement on social media. Another ace Tollywood actor Nani was all set to produce this movie. But some of the reports state that following the response of The Paradise result, this movie is currently kept on hold.
As of now, suddenly Kollywood’s ace director Karthik Subbaraj entered the race. According to the sources, he already narrated the entire story to Megastar and is waiting for his nod. Karthik Subbaraj is known for his blockbuster movies like Petta, Jigarthanda DoubleX and Retro. He also recently delivered a blockbuster with Dorathy. As he has a good grasp on the gangster dramas, Mega fans are eagerly awaiting for their collaboration.
Going with the details of Kaka movie, earlier on the occasion of Megastar Chiranjeevi’s birthday, they unveiled the title glimpse and introduced Chiru as Supervisor Satyam who works at an aquaculture company, leading a quiet working-class life. But this classy lifestyle is just from 9 AM to 5 PM. Thereafter, he turns into Kaka to take a toll on his enemies. The makers also highlighted his love towards his daughter Ammulu through this glimpse and raised expectations on this movie. Anaswara Rajan will be seen as Ammulu Papa in this movie who will be seen pursuing medicine!
Kaka is being helmed by Bobby Kolli and produced under the KVN Productions banner. Along with Chiru, this movie has an ensemble cast of Sunil, Anaswara Rajan, Priyamani and Anurag Kashyap.
