VTU delegation visits naval base at Karwar

Bengaluru: A delegation from Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) recently visited the naval base at Karwar to discuss possible collaboration between the university and the naval establishment.

VTU Vice-Chancellor Prof. S. Vidyashankar, along with Dr. Commander Devendra Singh, Director of the Aerospace and Defence Division, met Flag Officer Commanding Karnataka Naval Area, Rear Admiral Vikram Menon, at the base. Commodore C.K. Karmakar, Chief Staff Officer (CSO) of the Indian Navy, was also present during the meeting.
