RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat to address Gen Z, Gen Alpha on August 6

Mumbai: The Rashtriya Swamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat will address Gen and Hen Alpha in Mumbai on Thursday. His address will come days after Gen Z protest led to the resignation of Dharmendra Pradhan as Education Minister following stir of exam paper leaks and 21 NEET candidates dying by suicide across the country.

Bhagwat to address IIMUN event

Bhagwat will address the inaugural ceremony of India’s International Movement to Unite Nations’ (IIMUN) Annual Championship Conference, which wull be held at the at the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC). Around 2,000 students aged between 15 to 19 years of age will take part in the event from more than 100 cities in India.

It may be noted that Gen Alpha generation include those born between 2010 to 2024. They are part of 0 to 16 years as in 20 26. Gen Z are those who are born between 1997 and 2012, making them between 14-29 years of group.

The RSS chief will inaugurate the IIUMN’s flagship Annual Championship Conference. In this event, the students will debate on a number of local, national and international issues, news agency PTI reported. The ceremony will be inaugurated on the theme of ‘The Role of Youth in Uniting the World, the Indian Way’. It was on July 25 that Pradhan resigned as Education Minister following CJP protests at Jantar Mantar. The protests started on June 20 and included ‘Sansad Chalo’ march on July 20.
