‘Has become a terrible system’: Rahul Gandhi slams Govt, RSS over state of education in India
New Delhi: Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha and senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday said that while education has become a terrible system, it has been captured by the RSS. He pointed out that every Vice Chancellor on any university in the country is an RSS.

Addressing the Lok Sabha during the debate on the Anti-Paper Leak Bill, Rahul Gandhi alleged that the education ministry in this country is not run by the education minister but by the RSS. He added that students are not allowed to follow their passion.
‘Children of the rich get jobs, and children of the poor are bypassed’
“Students were upset. They sat for hours to prepare for the NEET . Yet the paper leaks happened. Children of the rich get jobs and children of the poor are bypassed. Education has become privatisation. It has become a terrible system. It is a system that has been captured. The soul of the system has been captured by the RSS,” Rahul Gandhi said.
He added, “Rajnath Singh said, NDA is not UPA, our ministers did not resign. He is right. Dharmendra Pradhan did not run the education ministry; the RSS did. Students are not allowed to follow their passion. They are not allowed to say what they want. Every single Vice Chancellor is an RSS person. They want you to be Andh Bakhat. The parents of these children did not have the courage to face RSS or the BJP. But yet their children faced whatever they could. The game is about facing one’s own fear. That’s what students did”.
Rahul Gandhi hits out at the Government
“They are absolutely convinced that they know everything. They believe that the universe is static and they believe that knowledge emerges from inside them,” the former Congress President said while hitting out at the Government.
