“Modi, Amit Shah, Mohan Bhagwat, CEC Accused of Treason: ‘No One Will Be Spared ‘,” Rahul

The LoP Rahul Gandhi is attempting to go to the Election Commission of India through Gate No 4. But the police had locked Gate No. 4, as if they managed to go out of that gate, they could easily go to the ECI.

Addressing the media from behind the gates of Akashvani Bhavan, Rahul said that all opposition MPs had come on protest, demanding the resignation of CEC Gyaneshwar Kumar, but the police had stopped them from meeting the CEC and ask him questions about ‘Vote Chori’. It is unfortunate that 300 MPs want to meet him. He said he fails to understand why CEC is scared.

He alleged that the country and polls were being hijacked by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Amit Shah, and that Mohan Bhagwat is destroying India. He further claimed that even policemen standing here said they are aware of it. We are not countering the BJP; we will destroy them. I’m not interested in what they say. I am here to protect Democracy.” No one will be spared whether if Modi or Gyaneshwar Kumar or Mohan Bhagat and Amit Shah. What they have done is treason to the country, and no one will be spared.

After this brief interaction, he went back and sat under the Banyan Tree, but Priyanka left the place, followed by her security personnel. After a short time, she came back and continued the protest under the banyan tree.

It is not yet known how long this standoff would continue. Meanwhile, the AICC president Mallikarjun Kharge said that the fight would continue. He said the BJP calls this protest illegal, but it is they who were indulging in all illegal acts like Vote Chori and murdering democracy.

The police is asking them to vacate the place but Rahul and Priyanka continue to stage the dharna.
