Telangana govt releases Overseas Scholarship Funds

A total of ₹179.90 crore has been released for students pursuing higher education abroad from Telangana. The funds were allocated following official orders and will benefit 3,008 students across various categories.

Specifically, ₹48.42 crore has been allocated for Scheduled Caste (SC) students, supporting 1,193 students. Scheduled Tribe (ST) students received ₹36.95 crore, aiding 573 students. Backward Classes (BC) students benefited from ₹18.41 crore, supporting 179 students. Additionally, ₹76.13 crore was released for minority students, assisting 1,063 students in total.
