‘Better Be A Missamma’ from ‘Modern Missamma’ is about a woman’s thoughts on marriage
The first single from the upcoming Telugu film, Modern Missamma , ‘Better Be A Missamma’ was released during a grand event in Hyderabad’s Prasads Labs on Wednesday. The song, which was composed by Gopi Sundar and penned by Kittu Vissapragada, stars Harsha Narra and Tanmayi Khushi in traditional attire and revolves around a woman who is against marriage.

In the Lasya & Mithuna Creations production, the actors Harsha Narra, Tanmayi Khushi, Siju AR, Pramodini, Harika, Dr. Bhadram and Shivannarayana star alongside the director Sai Baba, who also wrote the film, and produced by Chiranjeevi Pamidi, Shiva Pamidi, Kiran Kumar Nalluri and Sravanthi Namburi.
“I have watched the film after its completion and am confident that the audience will enjoy it. Especially Dr. Bhadram’s comic performances stood out for me,” producer Kishore Naidu said while speaking at the event.
While Hero Harsha Narra said that the film was made with a lot of passion, despite the commercial failure of his previous films, adding that Tanmayi Khushi’s acting was remarkable and the composition and lyrics by Gopi Sundar and Kittu Vissapragada were simply brilliant.
“Modern Missamma song is created from a woman’s point of view, and we hope that it will strike the right chord with the ladies,” added Tanmayi Khushi.
“The film is not against marriage; we just want to explain what needs to be known before getting married,” director Sai Baba said, comparing filmmaking to construction and marriage and noting that both are difficult endeavors.
“Modern Missamma is a film that was made with the mindset of today’s youth, and I believe the results will speak for themselves,” said producer Chiranjeevi Pamidi.
