‘Ameer Log’ actress Vedha Jalandhar talks about characters being special

Actress Vedha Jalandhar is confident that Ameer Log will click with the audience for its relatable characters, emotions and unique presentation. The upcoming Telugu film, directed by Ramana Reddy Soma, is all set to hit the theatres on August 21, under the banner of Rana Daggubati’s Spirit Media.

While talking about the film, Vedha stated that she plays a ‘girl-next-door’ character who is simple but powerful and motivates people around her. She further added that many traits of the character are similar to her mother who has been her biggest inspiration.

The actress made her debut in 2019 and shared that out of the two films she did, none had a theatrical release. She attended theatre training to hone her craft and also mentioned that she has no regrets about her short filmography. Vedha added that she prefers to select films that have a scope for good performance.

Vedha further added that the inclusion of the popular dish biryani has been smartly integrated into the narrative of the film. She feels the relatability of the story will help the film connect with every viewer irrespective of their background.

“I find working with sync sound as a challenge but Vedha appriciates the support provided by the locals during the shoot. She further added that music director Smaran has helped take the film to another level with his background score and songs. Each character in Ameer Log has played a vital role to keep the audience engaged which according to Vedha is the highlight of the film. She appreciates the performance of fellow actors MC Hari, Manoj and Sashidhar on board and finds working with them a delightful experience. She further added that the director has conducted demo shots for the team and has lucidly explained his vision for the film. Vedha Jalandhar also shared that Spirit Media and director VN Aditya were quite particular about her performance and Vedha’s portrayal of an unconventional character has been appreciated by them.
