Panasonic LUMIX L10 camera launched in India: Price, Leica Lens, features and more

New Delhi: Panasonic has introduced the company’s high-end fixed-lens camera LUMIX L10 (DC-L10GW) in India. The new camera features a Leica-lens zoom lens and is equipped with AI-assisted autofocus and features a compact design that is optimised for street, travel and everyday photography.

The LUMIX L10 has an MRP of Rs 179,990 and will launch in India in August 2026 in black and silver colours. It is also the 25th anniversary of Panasonic’s LUMIX camera brand.

Leica lens and 20.4MP sensor

The LUMIX L10 is equipped with a LEICA DC VARIO-SUMMILUX 24-75 mm lens with a bright f1.7-2.8 aperture. It can be used for macro photography at as close a distance as 3cm, and the 4/3 type BSI CMOS sensor has an effective resolution of 20.4 MP.

Dynamic Range Boost is said to be useful for preserving details in dark regions, according to Panasonic. The camera also has 4:3, 3:2 and 16:9 modes and maintains the same angle of view.

779-point AI autofocus

The camera features 779 focus points and Phase Hybrid AF for quick focusing and tracking of subjects. Its AI-based recognition system is able to recognise eyes, faces, bodies, animals and vehicles, as well as moving objects in various contexts like urban sports.

For monitoring, the LUMIX L10 gets a 2.36-million-dot OLED viewfinder and a 1.84-million-dot free-angle display.

Built for creators

The LUMIX L10 features Panasonic’s new L.Classic and, along with REAL TIME LUT support, ClassicGold Photo Styles. Personalised LUTs can also be generated with AI colour analysis within the LUMIX Lab app.

Hardeep Sarna, Business Chief, Imaging Business, Panasonic Life Solutions India, commented on the launch, saying, “The camera is the amalgamation of Leica optics, AI autofocus and a tactile design for India’s photography and creator community.” The camera also has MP4 Lite video recording capability and can be connected to smartphones LUMIX Lab app.
