Students Marched To Jharkhand Assembly At The 17th Day Of Their Protest Amid Demands Of Reforms In Recruiting Process

One of the most important stages of the Ranchi paper leak protest has begun. As their protest entered its seventeenth day, the students began marching in the direction of the Jharkhand Assembly to seek changes to the recruiting process.

In order to take part in the protest, thousands of students from various districts throughout Jharkhand traveled by bus, train, and other means to the state capital this morning.

Sensing problems with law and order in the city, the administration is on high alert and has imposed barricades at key crossroads and important locations.

Large numbers of police officers have been stationed, and security measures are in place to prevent any unfortunate events. In Ranchi, the majority of schools are still closed today.

The police had also been inspecting busses and private vehicles on district borders, key routes, and highways in an effort to reduce the number of students traveling to the capital.

Leaders of the BJP are also demonstrating outside Chief Minister Hemant Soren’s home.
