‘2K Lovers’ launched with a pooja ceremony
The much-anticipated Telugu movie 2K Lovers (Soul of Love) was released with a big pooja on Sunday. The film is the first production venture of the MB Production House. The film directed by Rajesh Naidu and produced by Bicchu Naik stars Mohith Pedada and Shruti Shankar in the lead roles.

The film set in Telangana is a soulful love story showcasing romance, family emotions, humour and relationships. Rasool Bhaay has written the story for the film and the makers have promised an entertaining feel good flick on modern love. The film witnessed a star-studded guest list with veteran Mani Sharma, Tanikella Bharani and VN Aditya as chief guests. VN Aditya started the proceedings by beating the clapboard for the first time, while Mani Sharma took charge of beating the first shot. Tanikella Bharani unveiled the script of the film.
The director Rajesh Naidu said that Rasool’s story is a soulful romance set in the Telangana and it will be a complete entertainer. He thanked the producer Bicchu Naik and the chief guests for their constant support and cooperation.
The producer Bicchu Naik said that 2K lovers will mark a special journey for them as MB Production. He further added that the film is a unique love story, shot in Telangana dialect, which reflects the emotions of families and promises to be an unforgettable experience for the viewers even after leaving the theatre. The writer Rasool Bhaay said that the film deals with emotions like love, pain, tears, relationships, bonding and has a good share of comedy in it. The lead hero Mohith Pedada said that it is a new experience for him as the film showcases a love story different from the clichéd ones.
Meanwhile, Shruti Shankar said that she was overwhelmed by the story of the film as it made her cry even before the shooting commenced. She further added that the film has plenty of comedy in store for the audience. The actor Praneeth Reddy said that his role in the film is altogether different from the ones he has done earlier. The film also features Sai Kumar, Tanikella Bharani, Sapthagiri, Racha Ravi, Motta Rajendran, Aamani, Shivannarayana, Ramya Ponduri and other stalwarts in the supporting roles.
