15 killed as truck hits devotees in Gwalior

Gwalior: In a horrific accident in Madhya Pradesh’s Gwalior on Sunday, 15 people were killed and 26 others were injured after a truck rammed into devotees and shops when they were waiting near a temple.

The incident happened at around 1:30 am on the Sheetlamata Mandir road when the truck driver lost control and the vehicle hit devotees before coming to a halt by smashing into the temple wall, which led to a collapse.

An investigator said the truck’s brakes may have failed, forcing the driver to swerve left in a desperate attempt to control the vehicle.
