Zombie Reddy 2 NXT LVL: Teja Sajja returns with bigger zombie venture

Superhero Teja Sajja returns with Zombie Reddy 2 NXT LVL in Telugu. The makers unveiled the action-packed title card on the occasion of Teja Sajja’s birthday by announcing the bigger, bloodier and more ambitious film as the sequel to the star-studded Zombie Reddy.

While Prasanth Varma, who brought Telugu cinema the zombie genre with the original Zombie Reddy is on board as creator, the film will be directed by Suparn S Varma. Produced by TG Vishwa Prasad and Krithi Prasad, it will be the second film in the zombie series for Teja Sajja following Mirai, that also starred People Media Factory owned by TG Vishwa Prasad. The title card begins with a strong statement that there were no CGI effects for the project.

However, it was unveiled in reverse wherein the first image displayed was the final poster and then it went on to showcase a zombie falling from a flyover onto a truck and the events leading up to it. Meanwhile, the hero can be seen fighting off waves of zombies with a bat at Charminar before the title – Zombie Reddy 2 NXT LVL was unveiled. The action-filled title card suggests that this time around, the scale has been increased manifold.

Apart from starring Teja Sajja, the film also marks Real Star Upendra’s comeback and Shanaya Kapoor’s Telugu debut. Gowra Hari, Abhinandan Ramanujam, Bangla N and Vijay Velukutty have been hired for the post-production work including music, cinematography and editing.
