Xi speaks out against Middle East war
New Delhi: Chinese President Xi Jinping on Saturday warned against the ongoing war in the Middle East and Gulf region, saying the conflict had caused “serious losses” to people across the region and did not serve the common interests of the international community.

Addressing the BRICS Summit in New Delhi, Xi said China was willing to work with fellow BRICS members to contribute to peace and stability in the Middle East and the Gulf.
“China is willing to work with fellow BRICS members to play due role in achieving peace and stability in the Middle East and the Gulf region,” Xi said, according to Chinese media.
