This is the Nothing Phone 4b; it could be the ideal choice for budget-conscious buyers

Nothing is preparing to launch its next smartphone—the Nothing Phone 4b—in India on July 7, expanding the Phone 4 lineup. Before the launch, the company officially revealed its design online. The device appears to incorporate the brand’s signature transparent design language and the Glyph Bar LED interface.

Previously, thanks to an X post by Nothing co-founder Akis Evangelidis, we learned that the Phone 4b would be positioned below the Phone 4a series. Additionally, leaks suggested that this phone could be the successor to the CMF Phone 2 Pro. In other words, if you are looking for a Nothing phone without spending a fortune, the Phone 4b could be your best option.

Nothing Phone 4b Design

The London-based company showcased the Nothing Phone 4b in a blue color variant. As usual, the upcoming smartphone features a transparent back panel that reveals internal components, including screw textures and industrial-style details. It will feature a unibody construction similar to that of the Phone 4a Pro.

The camera module houses a vertically arranged dual-lens setup, while the right side of the panel features a vertical Glyph Bar interface, similar to the Phone 4a. This lighting element is expected to provide visual notifications, indicate charging status, and support app-specific alerts.

An LED flash and additional sensors are located next to the camera module, while the flat frame integrates seamlessly with the curved rear edges for a softer aesthetic.

What else do we know about the Nothing Phone 4b?

The Nothing Phone 4b has reportedly appeared on Geekbench with the model number A009P. The listing points to a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 processor built on a 4nm architecture; the device scored 1,088 points in single-core tests and 3,155 points in multi-core tests. The Geekbench entry also suggests it will feature 8 GB of RAM and come with Android 16 out of the box.

Regarding the battery, tipster Yogesh Brar has indicated that the Phone 4b will have the same capacity as other models in the lineup. Given that the Phone 4a houses a 5,400 mAh battery, this gives us a rough idea of what to expect. And, true to Nothing’s style, do not expect a charger to be included in the box.
