The New Hyundai ICE Sub -Compact EV SUB Launch Planned for Festive Season

Hyundai has two major products lined up in the second half of the year; the first vehicle to be launched would be a mid-size SUV. This would be mostly launched during the festivals, either Dasara or Diwali. The above vehicle is expected to be launched in a segment similar to the current Creta SUV and is in line with Hyundai’s multi-model approach across segments.

The Creta would grow in size with the next-generation model; this SUV would take its place in one of the most competitive segments in the Indian market. The vehicle is offered with petrol and diesel but even the hybrid package by the end of the decade.

The ICE SUV would be joined by a sub-compact EV SUV, which is expected to arrive by the end of the year and offer the similar package as the recently launched Kis Syros EV. This does include two battery packs, level 2 ADAS, connected car technology, software-defined functions and a full LED Light package. This one is an emerging segment and would have cars such as TATA Nexon EV, Mahindra XUV 3XO, Renault Bridger EV and of course, the Kia Syros EV.
