‘SYG’ in final stage of filming; makers planning December release

The makers of Sambarala Yeti Gattu, starring Supreme Hero Sai Durgha Tej, have commenced the film’s final shooting schedule in Hyderabad, taking the ambitious pan-India project a step closer to its theatrical release in December 2026. Directed by debutant Rohith KP, the film is being produced by K. Niranjan Reddy and Chaitanya Reddy under the Primeshow Entertainment banner.

Known for backing the pan-India blockbuster HanuMan, the production house is reportedly mounting the film on a grand scale with no compromises on production values. A massive specially designed set has been erected for the ongoing schedule, where the team will shoot several key sequences featuring large-scale action, emotional moments and visually striking episodes involving the lead cast.

Sai Durgha Tej is said to be portraying one of the most intense and challenging roles of his career. The actor has undergone a notable transformation for the film, which promises to present him in a powerful new avatar.

Director Rohith KP is blending action, emotion and grand visuals to create an immersive cinematic experience for audiences across languages. The post-production work is expected to begin immediately after the completion of the current schedule.

The film features Aishwarya Lekshmi as the female lead, while Jagapathi Babu, Sai Kumar, Srikanth and Ananya Nagalla play pivotal roles. The makers have also roped in a leading Bollywood actor for a crucial character, although details remain under wraps. Music for the film is being composed by Ajaneesh Loknath.
