‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ rewrites Indian box-office records
Spider-Man: Brand New Day has created history by fetching a brilliant opening-day collection in India. The Marvel superhero film grossed a massive ₹80 crore on its opening day in the country, registering the single-day highest grosser for any Hollywood film in India till date.

The film has registered a phenomenal turnout in Mumbai and other premium multiplexes across the country. The film yet again proved the love and craze for Spider-Man among the Indian audience as people flocked to theatres to watch the superhero save the day.

The film which has had one of the biggest openings in Indian box-office history is expected to affect the business of Bollywood films released this week including Chennai Love Story, Srinivasa Mangapuram and Newton’s 3 rd Law.
