South Western Railway launches two special services
Hassan: South Western Railway has arranged two special trains from Bengaluru and Arsikere to Hassan so that devotees can reach the shrine of Hasanamba Devi during the annual festival. The services will operate from October 29 through 11 November.

The arrangement aims to regulate the additional volume of travellers and to provide smoother journeys. Each year, thousands of devotees arrive at Hassan from various districts of Karnataka as well as from other states. More than twenty-three lakh people obtained darshan last year, and a similar or larger turnout is anticipated this season.
The first service is the KSR Bengaluru–Hassan special (train numbers 06573 and 06574). It will perform a total of fourteen trips in both directions between the stated dates. The rake consists of twenty-one coaches.
