Shiva Kandukuri’s ‘Talkum Powder’ locks Nov 13 release

National Award winner producer Raj Kandukuri, who has been supporting content driven films like Pelli Choopulu, Mental Madilo and C/O Kancharapalem is returning with yet another intriguing project Talkum Powder, which stars Shiva Kandukuri and Drishika Chander in the lead roles, written and directed by Sai Nath Ponna.

The makers have unveiled The First Sprinkle, a first look which introduces the audience to the film’s quirky world and protagonist, Kuntya, a drug peddler who finds himself in an unbelievable situation due to an inadvertent mistake.

As the police and gangsters start hunting him down, the glimpse leaves the audiences speculating on the mistake that led Kuntya to this situation and the ways he plans to get out of it. With elements of crime-comedy and drama, the film promises to keep the audiences on tenterhooks with its unpredictable twists and quirky characters.

While Shiva Kandukuri’s energetic screen presence shines through the glimpse, the audience is also introduced to the other prominent characters like Venkatesh Maha, Jeevan Kumar, among others.

On the technical front, cinematography is handled by G.V. Ajay Kumar, while Osho V has composed the music and Surya Ponnapalli has edited the film.

Produced by Raj Kandukuri under Dharma Patha Creations, Talkum Powder is slated to release on 13th November.
