Shark Tank’s Anupam Mittal Says Elon Musk’s Grok Is Faster, Cheaper Than Claude

Anupam Mittal, a ‘Shark Tank’ judge and the founder of Shaadi.com, shared a post on X (formerly Twitter) stating that he had created an automated AI content system, despite having no programming experience. Mittal noted that he developed the system over a weekend and now has what he described as eight AI “employees” working for him. He also mentioned that he started out using Anthropic’s Claude but found Elon Musk’s Grok to be faster and significantly cheaper. Mittal stated that this experience changed his perspective on how quickly AI is being integrated into everyday work.

Mittal said he built the automated content system “in a few hours this weekend” and highlighted that he had never programmed before. He wrote on X: “I created an automated content system in a few hours this weekend. It’s crazy, because I’ve never programmed. Now I have 8 employees with names like Manish, Chandan, Lyndon … all of them AI.”

He also reflected on the speed at which AI tools are transforming the way we work: “It will be a different world a year from now. I’m already feeling it firsthand.”

When asked which AI agents he used to create the system, Anupam Mittal replied that he started with Claude. He then commented that he opted for Grok—the AI chatbot developed by Elon Musk’s company, xAI—after comparing the two tools.

“I started with Claude, but I see that Grok is faster and costs a tenth of the price.” Another user asked Mittal about the quality of the content system created using AI agents. Mittal replied: “Incredible… it works like a charm… for now. And it’s multi-user.”
