Saving limbs through early action

IPACON 2026 brought together medical experts from across India and abroad with one clear message: preventing diabetic foot complications requires early action.

The two-day congress in Hyderabad focused on screening, wound care, vascular treatment, reconstruction, rehabilitation and newer approaches to limb preservation.

With more than 400 delegates and over 50 faculty members, the event provided a platform for doctors and healthcare professionals to exchange practical knowledge and clinical experiences.

Hands-on workshops added a practical dimension, covering wound-healing techniques, debridement, casting and vascular care. The larger goal was to encourage regular foot checks, timely treatment and stronger teamwork among specialists to reduce avoidable amputations.
