Samsung Galaxy S26 FE Launch: High-end features at an affordable price

Samsung has added another smartphone to its recent Galaxy S26 series with the launch of the Galaxy S26 FE. This new Galaxy S26 FE, a Fan Edition takes many of the features, from the flagship series but comes at a slightly lower price. The Galaxy S26 FE includes a rear camera system, a 4,900mAh battery and wireless charging.

Importantly the device has launched in global markets and sales scheduled to begin on September 4. Details regarding the device’s arrival, in the market have not yet been revealed.

Samsung Galaxy S26 FE Specifications and Features

The Galaxy S26 FE has a 6.7‑inch HD+ Amoled 2X display. The screen can refresh at 120Hz. Can glow up, to 1,900 nits so the screen is easy to see even in bright light. The Galaxy S26 FE also has an IP68 rating. The Galaxy S26 FE can resist dust and water.

The phone is powered by Samsung’s Exynos 2500 chipset, which is made using a 3nm process. The phone comes with 8GB of RAM while the phone’s storage options start at 128GB and can reach up, to 512GB.

Regarding pictures the Galaxy S26 FE has three cameras on the back. It has a 50‑megapixel camera that opens wide to f/1.8 and moves to keep shots steady with optical image stabilization. It also has a 12‑megapixel ultra‑wide camera that looks far covering 123 degrees. Finally it has an 8‑megapixel telephoto camera that moves to keep shots steady and can zoom, up to three times optically and thirty times digitally. For selfies and video calls the Galaxy S26 FE uses a 12‑megapixel front camera that sees 85 degrees. Inside the Galaxy S26 FE is a 4,900‑mAh battery that can be recharged quickly with a 45‑watt wired charger and can also be charged wirelessly at 15 watts. The Galaxy S26 FE runs Samsung’s One UI 9 which is built on Android 17.

The Galaxy S26 FE measures 161.6 x 76.9 x 7.4 mm and weighs approximately 193 grams. It will be available in Blueberry, Graphite, and Pistachio colors.

Samsung Galaxy S26 FE Price and Availability

The Samsung Galaxy S26 FE starts at 799 euros ( 89,000 rupees) for the variant with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage.

The Samsung Galaxy S26 FE with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage is priced at €899, which comes to around ₹1 lakh. The 8GB RAM and 512GB storage variant costs €1,099, or about ₹1.22 lakh.

Samsung will start selling the phone in some markets from September 4 through its online store. However, there is no word yet on when the Galaxy S26 FE will arrive in India. Samsung has also not revealed the India price of the phone.
