Raghav Juyal on Paparazzi Culture and Online Trolling: “I Focus on My Craft, Not Bad Comments” (HL)
Most of the actors have earlier spoken publicly about the pressures of this scrutiny as paps are usually seen chasing the actors. Raghav Juyal while speaking about the pap culture said that he has nurtured a long-standing bond with several paps over the years and doesnot feel insecure.
Raghav Juyal said that he is of the opinion that everyone has his own viewpoint and whatever journalists or paps show or write while analysing the movie or actor is their own viewpoint. He said that he has grown watching many paps as he has been in the showbiz industry for a long time . He was quoted saying, ” But comments-vomments par main itna dhyaan nahi deta. Main un par zyada focus nahi karta. Aur kitno ko kya kar loge? Jo log comments kar rahe hain, woh karte rahenge. Hamari journey bahut alag hai. Har kisi ki journey aur mehnat alag hoti hai. ”
The actor said that he doesn’t bother about the bad comments on social media and focuses on his own work. He said that every actor’s journey is different and he tries his level best to entertain the audiences.
He also opened up on how important it is for actors to stay relevant. He said that one should have the capacity to reinvent himself to stay relevant otherwise it is tough to survive in the industry. He said he has been trying to stay relevant for more than a decade. He added that if someone really want to do the real thing, then he has to keep reinventing himself and work on his craft.
The actors remerks came at the time when many celebrities have raised voice against the paps and the security issues. Earlier, Saif Ali Khan was chased by the paps up to the corridor of his building and many actors have come out in his support and urged paps to not violate the privacy. Alia Bhatt was also seen speaking against the pap culture as she thinks many are not respecting the celebrities’ personal space.
Raghav Juyal will be seen in two movies, ” Bhai Tera Star Hai’ and ‘The Paradise’ . Both the movies will release this year. The lead cast of “Bhai Tera Star Hai” includes Raghav Juyal, Sanjay Kapoor and Niharika NM . It is directed by Vivek Agarwal.
