Priyanka Chopra shares cosy pre-fourth of July celebration from bed, gives glimpse of fireworks
Mumbai: Actress Priyanka Chopra Jonas is known for keeping her fans updated with her activities. She recently gave fans a glimpse of the pre-Fourth of July celebrations in the United States through a post on her social media account.
The actress took to Instagram stories and posted a video which features a nighttime view from her bed, looking out through large glass windows at fireworks lighting up the sky.
The actress wrote, “Happy almost 4th from bed,” referring to the celebrations leading up to the Fourth of July, also known as the US Independence Day.
The winner of the Miss World 2000 pageant is enjoying her association with the United States of America. From living there in her childhood, the actress earlier attended schools in Massachusetts, Iowa and New York before returning to India.
After earning fame in Bollywood, she ventured into Hollywood and made her name there too. The actress has often spoken about having no qualms about having to begin her journey from scratch despite her immense success back home.
She has appeared in various Hollywood films such as Baywatch, Isn’t It Romantic, The White Tiger and The Matrix Resurrections. She is popularly known for starring in the action thriller series Citadel in the English language entertainment world.
For the unversed, her Hollywood journey began with her music career before she landed the lead role in the American television series ‘Quantico’ in 2015. With the show, she went on to become the first South Asian actress to headline an American network drama.
Priyanka is married to American singer-actor Nick Jonas and the couple are parents to daughter Malti Marie. The actress continues to juggle between the United States and India, balancing her Hollywood commitments and Indian projects.
