It is well known that Pan-Indian star Prabhas is juggling between three movie sets. Along with Hanu Raghavapudi’s Fauzi, he is also parallelly shooting for Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Spirit and Nag Ashwin’s Kalki 2. But as Fauzi is all set to release on 3rd December, the makers and the lead actor Prabhas are concentrating on this movie to deliver the best output.

As Prabhas bagged the biggest failure of his career with Maruthi’s Raja Saab, he is hoping to make a perfect comeback with Fauzi. But the latest speculations state that Fauzi might miss the December release due to the delay in the shooting. As they want to deliver the best output, the makers are reportedly willing to postpone the release. Instead, they are also opting to hit the theatres during Republic Day weekend in 2027 as the plot relates to pre-Independence soldier story.

As our dear Darling turns a year older on 23rd October, the makers are expected to drop a teaser and new release date on that special day. Well, already the December slots are completely over-crowded and even the Fauzi release date is occupied by Naga Chaitanya’s Vrushakarma. Thereafter, Pongal holiday season also has half-a-dozen movies in its kitty. So, Fauzi is left with Republic Day option itself.

On the other hand, they can’t take risk by releasing in February as it’s the exam season. Coming to March, Prabhas’s Spirit is lined up to hit the screens on 5th March. And April has the biggest magnum opus Varanasi. So, Fauzi needs to target Republic Day weekend if it misses the December slot.

Well, Fauzi is being helmed by Sita Ramam fame Hanu Raghavapudi and is being bankrolled under the Mythri Movie Makers banner.

It has social media sensation Imanvi as the lead actress while Prabhas will be seen as a soldier in this periodic war drama. Going with the plot, it is the story set against the historic backdrop of 1940s British colonial India with references spanning 1932 to 1944. While Prabhas is expected essay the role of a battle-worn soldier who is specifically linked to the Azad Hind Force.
