Pegasystems expands university partnerships in India
Pegasystems Inc. (NASDAQ: PEGA) announced new and expanded university tie-ups under its University Academic Program at its PEGAInnovate event in Hyderabad. VEMU Technical University joins as a fresh partner, while UEM Kolkata and Woxsen University mark an expansion of ties.

With 23 universities already on board, Pega plans to add 30-40 more this year, training faculty to teach agentic AI and automation directly to students.
“When you train the faculty, you change what students learn for years, not just one batch,” said Deepak Visweswaraiah, Senior VP and MD, Pega India. Each partnership runs as a 1.5-year cohort programme, with some universities offering it as a credit course.
