Parliament monsoon sessions to begin from July 20

The schedule for the Parliament’s Monsoon Session has been finalised. Union Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Kiren Rijiju announced on Saturday that this year’s Monsoon Session will be held from July 20 to August 13. He announced the schedule for the sittings of both Houses after President Droupadi Murmu approved the Central Government’s recommendation.

Kiren Rijiju stated that the session is likely to feature extensive discussions on issues of national importance, the scrutiny of legislation, and the taking of key decisions. “There should be meaningful discussions and consultations on matters of national interest,” he wrote on X.
