‘Panchali Panchabhartṛuka’ review: A hilarious comedy suspense thriller
Rating: 3/5

Panchali Panchabhartṛuka is yet another comedy suspense thriller that delivers some hilarious dialogue, strange characters, and several twists, aided by an intriguing title and a stellar star cast that includes Rajendra Prasad and Prudhvi. The teasers and the trailer were intriguing, and the movie delivers up to a great extent, managing to keep your attention through some interesting developments, a compelling plot, and great performances.
Story
The story follows Chittaranjan, Katraraj, Pushparaj, and Babji, who get into an unbelievable situation due to Senorita, whose corpse they found in a pool of blood after returning home from a party. However, as they try to deal with it, more and more confusing events occur. For example, the bag with her body goes missing, and Dr. Damayanti was kidnapped and forced to work for Danson’s company. Then, it turns out that these incidents are somehow related to Paramasundari, Rosemary, and secret agent Yedukondalu, EKO, and everything converges towards one point, which is revealed towards the end of the film.
Performances
The performances of Rajendra Prasad and Prudhvi are highly enjoyable, as they deliver hilarious dialogues and act naturally. Gemini also has a major role in the film, so Suresh has ample screen time to demonstrate his acting skills, and he manages to do it. Similarly, Roll Rida gets a decent role, allowing him to display his acting chops, while Raj Pawan, Saree Far, Raj Pawan, and Venkat Duggireddy play notable roles as well. Finally, director Ganga Sapthashikhar plays the secret agent Yedukondalu and manages to be appropriately funny.
Technicalities
I think Ganga Sapthashikhar has done a great job by managing to make each of the characters interesting and believable and delivering a compelling plot. First of all, the screenplay is the film’s primary strength, as throughout the first half of the film, characters are revealed, and the murder mystery around Senorita is uncovered. The second half contains all the answers and is great at delivering them without making the film boring or confusing. The music is also great, as the title track is highly energetic, and situational tracks are used to reinforce the plot. Moreover, the editing is done very well, and the film looks great overall. Venkat Duggireddy, the producer of the film, did an incredible job in spending money for the movie.
Analysis
The strongest aspect of Panchali Panchabhartṛuka is that it manages to combine several different genres, namely comedy, mystery, and thriller, retaining its entertainment value and delivering some surprising twists. The mystery around the murder keeps you guessing, and the fact that it converges towards one point makes you want to see the film. The film contains some genuinely funny moments, and will not have humor forced or unnatural. The film makes you laugh while telling a thrilling story, uncovering a mystery, and making you think. All the actors act naturally, which is vital for a film like this, and each actor has a decent performance. Panchali Panchabhartṛuka is worth seeing in theaters because it is an entertaining film that combines comedy and mystery-thriller genres seamlessly.
