OnePlus sets July 31 as the India launch date for its upcoming budget phone, the N6x; full design revealed

OnePlus has finally shared when its next budget phone will be available. After giving some hints about the phone this week, the company has said the official release date for the OnePlus N6x in India is July 31. Along with the date OnePlus has shown the back design of the phone showing a new look that is clearly different, from the recently introduced OnePlus N6.

OnePlus N6x Design

Unlike the OnePlus N6, which had a camera module the new N6x uses a very different design style. The phone has a frame a flat back cover and a vertical pill-shaped camera setup in the top-left corner with the LED flash placed outside the camera module.

OnePlus has also announced two colour choices for the phone: a blue colour and a deep burgundy colour. Both models keep a clean look with the OnePlus logo, in the middle.

What we know so far

OnePlus has not told us what the N6x can do. People think it will be as good as the OnePlus N6 or maybe a little worse. The N6x is a smartphone that will cost less than some phones.

We do not know if the N6x will have the parts as the OnePlus N6 or if it will have a different brain and camera. OnePlus will tell us more, about the N6x smartphone soon because it comes out on July 31.

The OnePlus N6 has a screen that is 6.8 inches. This screen is really good. It is called HD+ IPS LCD. It also has a feature that makes it look really smooth this is called a 120Hz refresh rate. The OnePlus N6 screen can get very bright it can go up to 1,200 nits. The OnePlus N6 phone has a brain inside this is called the MediaTek Dimensity 6360 Apex chipset. The OnePlus N6 runs on Android 16. It also has something called OxygenOS 16. The company that makes the OnePlus N6, OnePlus says that the OnePlus N6 will get updates for the Android operating system the OnePlus N6 will get these updates for a long time up, to two major Android OS updates.

In terms of photography, the OnePlus N6 features a 50-megapixel main rear camera. On the front, the phone sports an 8-megapixel selfie camera. To keep it running, it houses a massive 8,000 mAh battery—one of the largest in its segment. The device supports 45W wired fast charging, as well as 5W wired reverse charging and bypass charging.

The OnePlus N6 holds an IP65 rating for dust and water resistance and also carries MIL-STD-810H certification for enhanced durability.
