Non-stop Rain Brings Delhi-NCR To A Standstill; IMD Forecasts More Showers And Thunderstorms
Heavy rainfall with prolonged spells was received in Delhi-NCR causing disruptions in normal life in few areas of the region. The heavy downpour caused water logging in several places, and traffic was affected.

The rain continued as India Meteorological Department (IMD) had warned for more rain showers and thunderstorms in the area in the next two hours.
The ongoing rain caused the roads to become slippery and made travelling difficult for people, as the rain did not stop. While the weather remained rough, some areas in the NCR felt the rains as the downpour came.
The IMD predicted further thunderstorms and rains, indicating that the situation could impact the region for the next few hours. Advice was issued to residents and commuters to be cautious while travelling, especially areas that were waterlogged.
The current rain has once again brought the issues in Delhi-NCR during heavy rainfall to light wherein the waterlogging and traffic jams can impact daily life.
The likelihood of showers will be rising in the next few hours, making it more complicated for residents and commuters. Travellers are facing problems particularly in areas already affected by waterlogging.
