Neem Karoli Baba biopic ‘Hanuman Ansh’ to be released in Telugu on Oct 9

After seeing off a successful run in Hindi, Hanuman Ansh will hit the Telugu screens on October 9. Inspired by spiritual guru Neem Karoli Baba, also referred to as Maharaj-ji, the biopic is ready to see South India audiences through the lens of Hombale Films.

Directed and written by Dr. Vishal Chaturvedi, the spiritual drama features Shobinaw Satyaa as the title character, with Chandan Anand and Purnima Tiwari playing pivotal parts. Hanuman Ansh recounts the life and teachings of Neem Karoli Baba, and offers a poignant look into the world of faith and devotion. The film was apparently a surprise discovery in Hindi, garnering a strong response from moviegoers who connected to it on a personal level.

Hombale Films, which distributed the film overseas, has acquired the theatrical rights in South Indian languages. Hanuman Ansh will hence be seen in Telugu followed by a wide release in Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam. Shreyas Dharmadhikari has composed the music for the film while Rishi Pathak has been credited as music director.

Having wrapped up its Hindi theatrical run, Hanuman Ansh is all set to experience Telugu audiences and connect to a wider demographic interested in the story of Neem Karoli Baba.
