Mythri movie makers announce ‘#MythriInLove’

Mythri Movie Makers, led by Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar, has established itself as a leading production house with films such as ‘Srimanthudu’, ‘Janatha Garage’, ‘Rangasthalam’ and ‘Pushpa’. Alongside big-budget entertainers, the banner continues to support fresh talent and content-driven cinema.

After introducing Vaishnav Tej and Krithi Shetty with the romantic entertainer ‘Uppena’, the production house is now presenting a new-age romantic comedy tentatively titled ‘#MythriInLove’. The film introduces Jai Jasti and Medha Meka as the lead pair and combines romance, humour and family drama in a relatable story about the dynamics of a relationship.

Prithvi Vanam, known for directing web series such as ‘30 Weds 21’ and ‘Middle Bench Ravi’, makes his feature-film directorial debut with this project. Director Mahesh Babu P, associated with ‘Miss Shetty Mr Polishetty’ and ‘Andhra King Taluka’, is the film’s creator.

Jai Jasti makes his acting debut as the male lead. Having pursued filmmaking and business economics, he developed skills in sound, editing, screenwriting and theatre arts. He also worked as an assistant director under Anil Ravipudi on ‘Gaali Sampath’ and ‘F3’, besides gaining experience through independent projects.

Medha Meka, daughter of actor Srikanth Meka and actress Ooha Meka, steps into cinema after completing her bachelor’s degree in marketing. Sai Harsha, son of lyricist Ramajogayya Sastry, is composing the music.

The makers have unveiled the first-look poster, featuring Medha embracing Jai from behind. Their relaxed expressions and affectionate pose capture the warmth of young love, offering a glimpse of the fresh pairing’s on-screen appeal.

The film was officially launched with a pooja ceremony. MLA Ganta Srinivasa Rao handed over the script, while Sahu Garapati and Archana switched on the camera. Nandini Reddy sounded the clapboard, and Sowmya Yerneni directed the first shot.

Backed by Mythri Movie Makers, ‘#MythriInLove’ marks an important beginning for its young team. The film’s title will be announced soon.
