Modi-Xi talks: Will the Great Wall frost ease?
New Delhi: Will the Great Wall frost to ease? Will there be consensus on Red Sea security, counter terrorism, agriculture, and healthcare during the bilateral talks with Chinese President Xi Jinping, who arrived in the national capital a short while ago?

Xi Jinping, who is here on a two-day visit, will participate in the BRICS Summit, marking his first trip to India in seven years, when he and Prime Minister Narendra Modi had a one-to-one meeting at Mahabalipuram (Mamallapuram), Tamil Nadu.
Modi and Jinping will be holding bilateral talks in the evening, which, according to experts, could help in giving a boost to bilateral relations. It is also felt that this meeting could help in further normalising relations between the two countries which are presently under strain following the eastern Ladakh military standoff and their military posturing in Arunachal Pradesh as well as line of control.
Modi and Xi held wide-ranging talks on August 31 last year on the margins of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) summit in the Chinese city of Tianjin.
In the last few months, the two sides have taken a series of measures to rebuild their relationship after it came under severe strain following the deadly Galwan Valley clashes in 2020.s
