Mahesh Babu Too Heaps Praises On Nitish Tiwari’s Ramayana

India’s most-loved Ramayana hit the theatres yesterday and bagged positive word of mouth from all corners of the country. Several actors and directors have been showering praises on this mythological epic and are completely mesmerized with the amazing screen presence of Ranbir Kapoor and Yash. Of late, even Tollywood’s ace actor Mahesh Babu also dropped his review on social media and congratulated the whole team of Ramayana for their splendid work.

This post reads, “The stories we’ve grown up hearing since childhood, coming alive so beautifully on the big screen… makes me so happy. Well, Mahesh Babu is currently busy with SS Rajamouli’s Varanasi movie. As this movie is scheduled to hit the theatres in next April, the makers are busy in wrapping up the shoot. Rajamouli already completed the major talkie part and is now concentrating on the VFX works being the most-awaited globetrotter movie of this season. On the other hand, Mahesh Babu will be seen in the dual role in this movie. He is already introduced as Rudra who will be seen as an archaeologist navigating a narrative that spans across ancient times to the modern day. Well, director Rajamouli also said that Mahesh Babu will be portrayed as Prabhu Shree Ram in this movie for about 15 minutes and further upped the expectations on this movie.

Some speculations state that Mahesh was first offered the role of Ram in Ramayana movie but as he had already given his commitment to SS Rajamouli, he couldn’t accept this offer. But, nevertheless, he is also essaying Shree Ram’s role in Varanasi thus, it is a big treat for all his fans.
