‘Lenin’ crosses Rs.100 Cr worldwide, Akhil Akkineni marks big milestone in career
Akhil Akkineni’s recent blockbuster ‘Lenin’ broke box office records on its second weekend. The film collects over Rs.100 crores gross worldwide. The actor celebrates the biggest hit of his career and shared the poster of the record on his social media and thanked the audience for their support.

“To everyone who believed, supported and accepted. This one is for you. On to the next with so much gratitude. Thank you and see you at the movies very soon,” the star wrote while captioning the image on his X account.
Directed by Murali Kishore Abburu, Lenin also stars Bhagyashri Borse in the lead role. Since its opening week, the film has been receiving great reviews.
The actor and the film’s producer, Nagarjuna Akkineni, took to social media to express their excitement over the box office collection of the movie, which achieved record-breaking opening-week collections for Akhil Akkineni.
Naga Vamsi and Nagarjuna Akkineni produced Lenin on a befitting budget of approximately Rs 55 crore. In the context of Akhil Akkineni’s stardom, the theatrical business amounted to roughly Rs 22 crore, leaving a gross break-even budget of Rs 44 crore for the film’s release. Interestingly enough, Lenin managed to recover its costs within 3-4 days of its release by breaking even across all markets. This tremendous success has given Akhil Akkineni the much-needed boost in his career.
