Kaka Vs Vishwambhara: Chiranjeevi Faces A Big Dilemma

Tollywood’s iconic actor Megastar Chiranjeevi is all set to hit the big screens with Bobby Kolli’s Kaka on 13th January, 2026. The makers already zeroed in the release date on the occasion of Chiru’s birthday in August. So, all his fans are happily relaxed and are eagerly awaiting for the film’s release.

But here comes the twist! We all know that Chiranjeevi also completed his shoot for Vishwambhara movie ahead of Anil Ravipudi’s Mana Shankara Vara Prasad movie. But the delay in the graphics work forced the makers to postpone the release date indefinitely.

Currently, some of the reports also state that the graphics work of this movie has almost been wrapped up and thus the makers are in search of an ideal release date. They also gave a thought to release the movie during Dussehra and December too. But both the slots are already over-crowded. So, the only choice left for them is the Pongal season.

And now if Vishwambhara wants a Pongal release slot, then his Kaka movie should definitely step out from the race. Both being the most-awaited movies of Chiru, even his fans are in dilemma to pick one of them.

And coming to Kaka director Bobby Kolli, he is showing no interest in pushing the release date and wants to release his movie on 13th January itself. As the glimpse already introduced Chiru as Satyam, aqua industry manager, his new look and the glimpse of his hidden angle in the movie upped the expectations.

While Vishwambhara is a complete sci-fi drama. Going with the story, Vishwambhara is an imaginative realm. Even in his earlier interview director Vassista opened up about the plot and said, “There are 14 lokalu, 7 on top and 7 on the bottom. Numerous filmmakers have already explored different worlds in the manner they want. I decided to go a step further. Vishwambhara takes place in the Satya lokam where Lord Brahma resides. We have already seen films where Yama lokam and Svarga lokam are explored. I wanted to do something different.” So, Vassista is all set to make us explore the fantasy world that exist above the Earth with his complete supernatural tale.

But now, the makers of both the movies are eagerly awaiting for Megastar’s decision. Trade experts speculate that Vishwambhara might be his preference as it is being hold in the shelves from past two years.
