Jana Nayagan Box Office collection Day 6: Vijay’s film is now inching towards Rs 300 crore mark

New Delhi: Thalapathy Vijay’s final film, witnessed a further dip on its Day 6 at the box office. The film collected Rs 8 crore on Tuesday, witnessing a drop of 24.9 per cent in its collections from the previous day’s earnings.

The film crossed the Rs 200 crore mark in just four days at the box office. The film is now marching towards the Rs 300 crore mark.

On Day 5, Vijay’s n collected a net of Rs 8 crore across 10,413 shows in India, bringing the gross collection to Rs 167.57 crore and India net collection to Rs 143.40 crore.

The film collected Rs 3 crore overseas on Tuesday, taking the total overseas collection to Rs 78.50 crore. The worldwide gross of the film now stands at Rs 246.07 crore.

The film opened in theatres with Rs 42.70 crore in India, and went on to collect Rs 21.15 crore on its Day 2, Rs 28.90 crore on its Day 3, Rs 32 crore on its Day 4, Rs 10.65 crore on its Day 5, and Rs 8 crore on its Day 6.

On Day 6, the Tamil version collected Rs 6.15 crore, while the Hindi version earned Rs 1.25 crore. The Telugu version minted Rs 0.60 crore.

Directed by H Vinoth, n marks the final film of Thalapathy Vijay, as he will now focus on politics. The film was originally scheduled to release in January, but faces delays due to pending clearance from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC).

After months of delay, the film finally received clearance from the censor board after ordering multiple cuts.

The film also features Pooja Hegde, Bobby Deol, Priyamani, Mamitha Baiju, Prakash Raj, and Monisha Blessy in key roles. The film was released in theatres on July 23, 2026.
