The Infinix Hot 70 Pro sits at the more affordable end of the mid-range segment. Here is everything you need to know about the Hot 70 Pro.
Infinix Hot 70 Pro Design
The Hot 70 Pro stands out because of its design. The Hot 70 Pro has three cutouts on the back. Two of the cutouts hold the cameras and the third cutout holds the Active Matrix Cube. The Active Matrix Cube looks like the matrix display that you see on the Infinix Note 60 Pro and on phones such as the Nothing Phone 4a Pro. The Hot 70 Pro lets you use the cube to see calls or notifications, sync it with music and play games such as “Spin the Bottle.”
The plastic back has effects depending on the colour. For example, the Thermo Orange version changes colour based on temperature and the Mirage Green model glows in the dark. Other choices available are Silk Glow Purple, Depth Ring White, Night Pulse and Dive Blue.
The Infinix Hot 70 Pro features a flat plastic frame that includes a customizable single-press button. The power button also doubles as a fingerprint sensor. The Hot 70 Pro is 7.85mm thick and weighs 204 grams. Furthermore, the phone holds an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance.
Infinix Hot 70 Pro Display and Cameras
On the front the Infinix Hot 70 Pro has a 6.76‑inch IPS display with a punch‑hole, for the front camera. The Infinix Hot 70 Pro says that the display can run at a 144‑Hz refresh rate when you play games and it can also reach a brightness of 950 nits.
The Infinix Hot 70 Pro has a camera setup that includes a 50-megapixel rear camera made by Sony using the IMX882 sensor. This rear camera can record videos up to 2K resolution at 30 frames, per second. For selfies and video calls the phone uses an 8- front-facing camera.
