India vs Pakistan clash headlines Women’s Asia Cup 2026 fixtures

New Delhi: India will take on Pakistan in the blockbuster clash of the Women’s Asia Cup 2026 on September 5, as the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) announced the tournament’s schedule on Thursday, August 6. The tournament will begin on August 28, with Thailand facing Hong Kong.

India and Pakistan are placed in Group A along with Thailand and Hong Kong, while Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, UAE and Indonesia will feature in Group B. The Women in Blue will play their first match on August 30 against Thailand.

All the matches are scheduled to begin at 6:30 pm local time and under the lights in Dubai. The semi-finals will take place on September 10 and 11 before the final on the 13th. This is the sixth edition of the tournament in the T20 format.

India finished as runners-up in the previous edition of the Women’s Asia Cup, with Sri Lanka winning it. But the Women in Blue remain the tournament’s most successful side, having won the title a record seven times. Pakistan are still searching for their first Women’s Asia Cup title, while Bangladesh are the only other side to have lifted the trophy, having won it once.
