Hyderabad shock: Man repeatedly stabbed with coconut knife in daylight murder captured on camera

New Delhi: A 35-year-old man was killed in broad daylight in Hyderabad’s Singareni Colony on Sunday. The scary attack happened in front of many people and was filmed on phones by nearby locals. The video was later shared widely on social media.

Police identified the victim as Amer. He was hit multiple times with a coconut-cutting knife, causing heavy bleeding. People nearby rushed him to the hospital, but doctors said he died before he arrived.

A police official said, “The victim has been identified as Amer, aged 35. Locals shifted him to the hospital, where doctors declared him dead. We have registered a case and are investigating the matter. We will share further details later.”

Suspect arrested

Police confirmed that they have caught the attacker and taken him into custody. A case has been registered at the Saidabad police station. Officers are questioning the suspect to find out why he committed the murder.

Investigators are gathering evidence from the scene and using the videos filmed by locals to understand exactly how the attack happened.

Officials stated that further information will be released as the investigation continues.
